Born in Caracas (Venezuela), Jose Luis started working in investment management after moving to London in 2004. Shortly after, he started working with metals and made a career switch to metal trading. He has worked in a number of international metal trading firms including Wogen Resources and Tennant Metals (part of Metalcorp).
He has worked in Europe, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. He has broad experience both on primary minerals and metals, as well as with recycled metals. He has visited mines, scrap yards and related projects all over the world.
He speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian. He has a Masters Degree in Finance from the London Business School and studied Geology for 2 years at UCL (Birkbeck).
