A History of Innovation
Founded in 1993, Kataman began as a nonferrous metals trading company with a focus on recycled metals. Building on experience and a global network, Kataman expanded into ferrous metals, and in 2013 was instrumental to the development of the CME ferrous futures contract launch. To support our industrial client base and drive the global decarbonization effort, Kataman expanded into trading environmental commodities.
